A weight loss master is one who has achieved her goal weight and has maintained that loss for at least 3 years. A master has made peace with food and has said yes to life. She has begun to nourish her soul. To become a master is to become a master of self. True power is always mastery of self, never mastery over others.

A weight loss master is a master of her own mind. Weight loss begins in the mind. All behavior is preceded by thought and feeling. Diets fail you because you haven’t had a change of thought.

Secrets Of A Weight Loss Master Workshop - September 20th from 10:00-2:00.  Sacred Paths Bookstore, San Mateo, CA.

This workshop is designed for emotional overeaters and yo-yo dieters. In this 4 hour workshop Catherine will teach you the secrets that helped her overcome binge eating disorder and bulimia. You will be learning mindfulness and how to access and express your aliveness and authenticity. You will learn how to develop a lighter approach to living that will not only remove your weight but will also increase your joy!

Cost for the workshop is $48.00.

The Weight Loss Master's Club

8 week series starts Thursdays, September 25th to November 13th from 7:00 - 8:30 PM.  Classes will be held at The Center at 435, 435 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto, California. Cost is $185.

This class fee includes a one hour private coaching session with Catherine ( a $75 value). Also included are 2 CDs by Catherine L. Taylor: Visualization For Weight Loss and The Power Of Affirmations, Reshaping Your Mind, Body And Reality One Thought At A Time.

Note: This class has an experiential component. Active sharing and participation is required. You will be given daily and weekly guidelines and skills to practice.You will be paired up with a weight loss buddy to practice the skills and to get support through a daily email or phone call.

This course encourages but does not include exercise. There will be demonstrations of various exercises. Before starting any weight loss or fitness program, one should get a clearance from a physican.

This program is not a religious program and does not require a belief in God or Buddhism to be effective.  It complements and allows all spiritual beliefs and paths. It does assert that you possess the inner wisdom and guidance to lead you into a place of joy and balance. This is your birthright.

In order for this program to be effective you must bring a willingness to change. You will are not required to do any of this perfectly. You will be learning how to navigate and make change work for you. Mistakes are actually encouraged as this is part of the learning process!

All that is required is that you fully show up and participate. This program requires that you be ready to take responsibility for your life, health and happiness.  You must be willing to put these skills into practice.

Knowledge can only take one so far; it is the daily practice of these skills that makes them become a permanent part of your being. Then knowledge becomes wisdom.
