Weight loss starts here. So does change.
Change is only possible in the power of the moment.
It is only in the moment that you have the power of choice.
Change begins in the mind, therefore, weight loss begins in the
mind. All behavior is first preceded by thought. Your feelings and beliefs spring from your thoughts, they in turn create your attitude, and your attitude
determines your actions and behavior. Therefore, your thoughts create your perception of reality.
This is not to imply you have total control over every thing that
happens to you.
There are acts of nature, governments, genetics, God, etc.
What you do have
control over
is how you think about and react to what happens to you.
Victor Frankl wrote, "Man's greatest freedom is his ability to
choose
his own attitude."
How you feel about your body is a reflection of your inner reality. Your weight problem
includes all the thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, and choices you have made about
yourself, food,
eating and exercise.
The key to changing any behavior is to change your thoughts about it and then put those new thoughts into action.
Dieting without a change in thought and attitude is putting the cart
before the horse.
After the diet, you will go right back to thinking the same
thoughts,
and then to the same behaviors that got you overweight to begin with.
This is the recipe for failure.
The secret to losing weight permanently is to change your thoughts
about how you perceive your body and your life.
Change your mind and your body will follow!
A master knows change starts with acceptance of where you are in the
moment.

Louise Hay writes, "The point of power is always in the moment."
Acceptance does not mean resignation or defeat.
It is accepting what is, not what you would like life to be.
Acceptance is dealing with life on life’s terms.
One cannot change what one cannot accept.
In each moment the opportunity for change and new choices exists.
This moment contains an opportunity.
You can choose to master weight, once and for all.
